Far above all viruses and plagues

We’re living in dangerous times where new virus threats are rising, but I sense God saying this is not the time to be an unbelieving believer. When deep darkness covers the earth, the Glory of God will rise over us.

Practical precautions are no guarantee that we will be safe. But we can be perfectly peaceful by being conscious of the supernatural promises of protection in God’s word.

Knowing we’re supernaturally protected isn’t arrogance, ignorance, pride, and being foolish. It’s not saying, “Let a COVID-19 patient cough right on my face, and I will prove to you that I’m supernaturally protected.”

It isn’t being presumptuous, boastful, and testing the Lord. It is simply living with a quiet confidence by resting in a greater reality.

Satan can’t just devour anyone

God’s will is that we be in good health. But even though supernatural protection is available, we can miss it.

The Bible says that Satan is the God of this world and goes about like a roaring lion looking for whom he may devour. The Bible also says like fish taken in a cruel net, like birds caught in a snare, so are people snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly upon them.

Satan can’t just devour anyone, he is looking for people who would be easy food. He comes like a thief to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus came that we might have life, and life more abundantly.

If God opens our spiritual eyes to see the unseen spiritual realm, you will see that Satan is behind many tragic incidents, disasters, sickness, and crimes. He will use people to execute his wicked schemes if they allow him. We have a free will that we can either yield to God or the devil.

The devil needs a foothold in our lives to execute his evil intentions. Fear, worry, strife, unrepentant sins, unforgiveness, and unbelief are some of the ingredients he needs to steal, kill, and destroy.

People who don’t know Christ and have no understanding of the new covenant realities and promises in the Bible have nothing to stand on when the devil comes in like a flood.

That’s why we must share the Gospel with others and teach them the truths. If they despise God’s kindness and happen to fall prey to the devil’s snare, I think Jesus will say to them on judgment day, “How often I wanted to protect you, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing.”

Trained to see differently

But what about believers in Christ, can they become casualties of the devil’s snares and schemes?

I’m 100% sure that many believers will find out in heaven that they went through sufferings and hardships that God never intended for them. It could have been avoided.

In the Bible, God says that His people perish because of a lack of knowledge. Knowledge here is not referring to information we read but revelation that makes us see differently.

Elisha and Gehazi saw that they were surrounded by the Syrian army. But Elisha was as cool as a cucumber while Gehazi was stressed out. Elisha saw protection, Gehazi saw death.

Then Elisha prayed to God to open Gehazi’s eyes to see the unseen realm. When God opened Gehazi’s eyes, he saw chariots of fire, the angel armies of God all around them. They outnumbered the Syrian army.

Gehazi saw the facts. Elisha saw a greater reality over the facts.

Out of the twelve spies, only two of them, Joshua and Caleb saw the giants as their bread. In other words, they believed the giants can be taken out because God is backing them up. But the other ten spies saw themselves as grasshoppers before those giants.

You see, revelation gives you a super different perspective.

What are you beholding?

From the very beginning God told me not to focus on the news and reports but stay in the rhythm of His grace, fellowship with the Holy Spirit and follow His promptings. So I have given very little attention, say 0.5%, to COVID-19 news.

We’re empowered by what we focus on.

Distract yourself from COVID-19 news and behold Jesus, The Life. Behold the blood of Jesus that protects you. Behold perfect love. Use divine authority in the name of Jesus.

Believe and speak Psalm 91 promise of protection against devil’s snare and perilous pestilence. Be conscious that angels are given charge over you.

Jesus took COVID-19 for you, so that you can live in health. See His resurrection life in you. See yourself as a new creation in Christ. The Bible says as Jesus is, so are we in this world. We’re seated with Him in the heavenly places.

COVID-19 cannot infiltrate Jesus’ body. If it comes in contact, the resurrection life will kill it. Ephesians 5:30 says we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. Can we believe that COVID-19 cannot infiltrate our body?

Let’s speak who we’re in Christ, His promises from the Word, and where we’re going, not facts, or circumstances.

Make up your mind to believe

Don’t edit God’s word by the experience of others. Nothing in life happens by chance. The truth is not a hit-or-miss kind of stuff. God is not a man that He would lie. There is no ambiguity in God’s word, otherwise, we can’t be sure of anything in this life. It becomes stressful to live without assurance.

In James 1: 6-10 in the Bible, we read that if we’re double-minded, how can we expect to receive anything from the Lord. He who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

Jesus said to his disciples that if they don’t understand the parable of the sower and the seed, then how will they understand the rest. Jesus revealed the secrets of the Kingdom in parables.

The seed is perfect for sowing, nothing wrong with God’s word, but what type of ground it falls on will determine the outcome. The word of God sown in unbelieving and worry-filled hearts does not profit us.

What should we do?

Hear God’s voice and implement what He says
Always keep moving forward with God to be at the right place at the right time. That’s one of the ways we won’t be outwitted by the devil. If you want to be two steps ahead, learn to personally hear God’s voice for yourself and be quick to implement what He says.

Resurrection life is flowing in you

You have the Spirit of life in you. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is living in you and giving life to your mortal body. Since the Spirit of life is in you, any virus that comes in contact will die. Dig further to understand this revelation of the law of the Spirit of life. (Romans 8:11)

Take Communion at home

In 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, we read that believers were weak, sick and dying prematurely because there were partaking the communion in an unworthy manner.

What if you are taking the communion in a worthy manner, wouldn’t it produce life?

While on a vacation in December 2019 in Bangkok, the Holy Spirit quickened me to start taking communion. COVID-19 was just starting to spread and was all over the news.

If you need revelation on the communion, listen to Pastor Joseph Prince’s teaching on that. There are secrets of the communion that is now being revealed by the Holy Spirit to the believers.

When we remember, honor, and give thanks for Jesus’ body that was broken and the blood that was shed for us, it manifests new-covenant realities in us.

Decree the Word

God showed me that decreeing the word of God from our mouths is going to be crucial in this new era. If you or your loved ones are sick, decree relevant scriptures from the Bible over yourself and others. Scriptures like ‘I shall not die but live and declare the glory of God’ are powerful. Meditate, believe and decree Psalm 91.

I had two back-to-back dreams while we were in Malaysia in December 2019 about decreeing. Click here to read about it.

If you sense the symptoms of COVID-19, then speak to it like this:

In the name of Jesus, I speak to you COVID-19 and I command you to be uprooted from my body. I resist you in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus took away all my sickness. By the stripes of Jesus, I have been healed. Jesus bore COVID-19 virus and all sickness at the cross for me. So I refuse this virus to remain in my body in Jesus’ name.

I have the resurrection life of Jesus flowing in me. I’m covered by the blood of Jesus. I have a covenant of healing by the blood of Jesus. The Lord is my Healer. The Lord heals all my diseases.

I’m a new creation in Christ. Jesus is the resurrection and He is in me. He is my resurrection. His Life is reigning in my body, soul, and spirit. I speak death to COVID-19 in my body. You cannot remain in me. You are being swallowed up by the resurrection life of Jesus.

I have not received a spirit of fear but a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.

As Jesus is, so I am in this world. Jesus is free of COVID-19 and I’m a member of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. I have His health and life flowing in me. I’m the branch connected to the True Vine. His Life is flowing and reigning in me. I speak the Shalom of Jesus to my mind, body, and spirit.

Pray in the Spirit

When we pray in tongues we’re praying the perfect will of God. We don’t know what to pray, but the Holy Spirit knows.

Abide in the light

Don’t just visit but make a lifestyle of abiding in Christ and His word. Let your mind be more conscious of God’s word than the news. Listen to preachers and teachers whose messages unveil Jesus, impart faith and revelation.

Abide in the secret place. Spend time in God’s presence one on one. God showed me a dream where believers went to a dark place and were picked by the lion one by one instead of staying in the light.

Abide in Christ’s righteousness

Don’t trust your righteousness or goodness to be safe and be blessed. Because it’s not perfect. The devil will find loopholes and oppress you. Be established in Christ’s righteousness which is given as a gift when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

You’re God’s righteousness in Christ Jesus. Believe it, speak it, and the devil can’t accuse you. But if you’re counting on your own goodness or righteousness, he can oppress you because you will always fall short.

The Bible says the righteous are bold as a lion. You can boldly say that no plague or terror will come near you because you’re established in the righteousness of Christ. Jesus is your righteousness.

In righteousness you shall be established;
You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear;
And from terror, for it shall not come near you.
— Isaiah 54:14
