Many years back when we were in Delhi, I and my wife were visiting my parents on a weekend. My mom had some kind of pain all over her body. She said it could take a few weeks or a month for this to go away.
I don’t remember what that pain was, but my mom was really struggling. As we were sitting on the sofa in the living room and talking, I felt the Holy Spirit saying why not pray for healing now.
I asked mom whether she wants to get healed supernaturally now. She said she would like to but wasn’t sure.
I said let’s give it a shot. So I and my wife prayed and commanded the pain to leave in Jesus’ name. I asked mom how she felt. She said it feels like the pain has decreased. I said we will pray again.
So we prayed one more time and asked how she felt. She said it has further decreased but hasn’t gone completely. I said, “Well if some pain has already left then let’s believe for 100% healing.”
So we prayed for the third or fourth time and commanded the pain to leave in Jesus’ name. I asked her how she felt.
She said it’s gone. I and my wife still remember her reaction. She couldn’t believe that it just left like that. She was surprised. She said, “Wow! it’s gone”. It took three minutes not three weeks. She was fully healed. God’s super broke into the natural.
Pray and believe for your healing
I thought why didn’t my mom believe that supernatural healing was possible for her. She could have prayed over herself.
I mean, we watch and hear stories of supernatural healings on the television and YouTube. In those videos, we see when believers pray, healing breaks out in the streets and in church meetings. We read in the Bible how Jesus healed many who were sick.
But when it comes to us, we become passive in faith. We think it will not work in our case. We don’t try at all. Even if it takes time, we shouldn’t give up.
I don’t know about you, but I try to fix things supernaturally. I don’t want to settle for less because of unbelief. And if things don’t work out, I still trust God and move on. There are things that we may not understand. So I don’t overanalyze things.
Having said that, I still believe many people can get healed but they live tolerating their sickness and pain. They just need to ask God’s perspective and implement what He says.
Speak to the sickness
The new covenant is a better covenant. Jesus paid the price and suffered so that we could be healed, redeemed from the curse of sin and the oppression of the devil. Let’s honor that sacrifice by putting our faith in His finished work and diligently apply what He earned for us.
I pray over myself, others and I have seen results. A few months back I commanded the pain in my leg to go away.
I tolerated it for a few months. I thought it will go away on its own. But I struggled a lot when I was on a vacation.
After returning from my vacation, I started speaking to that pain and commanded it to leave in Jesus’ name. I said Jesus paid the price. By His stripes I’m healed. I will not allow this pain to remain. I commanded it to leave.
You may think I’m crazy. But craziness works. The day I started speaking to it, say after a week, I noticed immediate changes. The pain went away.
I also wish to see everyone healed when I pray for them. I don’t give up when some don’t get healed. I am not afraid to fail. I still pray for others.
We’re living in a broken world, we do get sick. The devil is the god of this world and he tries to steal our health if he could.
But as long as we’re breathing we should attack sicknesses and pain in our bodies supernaturally. Even if it’s just a knee pain, don’t tolerate it. Yes, God cares about that too.
Take medicines or go to the doctor if you need to. Eat healthy and exercise regularly. But decree God’s healing promises in the Bible over yourself.
By the stripes of Jesus, we were healed. A divine exchange took place on the cross. But to manifest that healing into our natural we must take a stand.
Then he (Elisha) said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped. And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”
— 2 Kings 13:18-19
We must learn to shoot arrows of God’s promises from our mouths until we see the manifestation of His promises.
Speak to the sickness, speak to the pain, and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. Be tenacious and resilient to manifest the promises of God. We’ll never know, God’s super can break into our lives just like that.
