Hi there! I am Sachin, and I'm glad you stopped by. I live in Kochi, India. I am a web designer by profession and the creator of SuperDifferent. If you believe there is more to life than what meets the eye, hang on, enlightenment is unloading below...

It’s up to you to make the most of your time when you have the chance and the opportunity.

Hard work and patience always pays off. If you are not willing to push yourself out of the comfort zone and take the extra effort, you will remain where you are. Going the extra mile gets you a mile closer to your goals.

Your actions have to match your ambitions.

– Gary Vaynerchuk

All the motivational talk can get you high and pumped up but it all comes down to the practicality of leveraging your time wisely. So what are the practical steps that you are taking towards your goals? What’s your game plan? How consistent are you in the execution?

Prioritizing and scheduling your time

Have you cut down on your entertainment? Are you watching quite a lot of nonsense on YouTube or TV? Or are you watching and listening to stuff that will help you to grow or improve your skills?

Are you having too much of buddy time with your friends? Do you spend a good amount of your time on Facebook? Is there a balance or moderation?

Do you have a time scheduled for reading, thinking, learning or to practice that musical instrument? Are morning times high productivity times for you and more conducive for learning or writing? If yes, are you getting up early and sleeping early?

What about your health? Have you scheduled an early morning time for walking or running? Or does evenings work better for you? What about learning and reading on the go when you are traveling daily?

What about your time with God? Do you talk to Him daily, do you read His Word and pray? Do you schedule quality time with your wife, kids, and other family members? What about scheduling a time to get out of your comfort zone and help others? Do you take time out to rest, unwind and recharge yourself?

Teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom.

– Psalm 90:12 (From the Bible)

We spend so much time on things that don’t really matter in life. We tend to do things in excess without any moderation. We consume an insane amount of entertainment because we are essentially bored. We don’t know what to do with our time.

For those who are working 9 to 5, it may seem hard but you know what, it only takes a little daily to get going. To form a new habit is always challenging in the beginning. But as you persist, you get into the momentum of doing things.

Some of us don’t know how far we can go. It’s when we push ourselves that we realize more of our potential which otherwise would have remained dormant.

Time is a gift. It is an asset. It is the most valuable resource. Amazing things can happen when you start prioritizing and investing your time intentionally and wisely. We can’t afford to be casual with the time that is given to us. Don’t spend it foolishly. Don’t sell it cheaply. It’s time to recalibrate the priorities and the usage of your time. It’s now or never.
