One second after death is too late!

Make a decision today!

God so loved you that He Himself came to this earth in the person of Jesus Christ, paid the penalty for your sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Jesus satisfied eternal justice so that you and I could escape God’s just wrath and punishment.

Just as we cannot earn a gift, so we cannot earn eternal life by our good works. God made a way but the choice is ours to make. God is inviting you to invest in your eternal life, just as you do in this present life. But not only that, He wants to fill your life here on earth with purpose, meaning, love and true peace which comes by knowing Him personally. The only way to call on a lifeguard to save you is to admit that you are drowning. In the same way, if we don’t see ourselves as truly lost in sin, then there is no reason to believe that you need to be saved by Jesus.

You are hanging over the mouth of hell by a single thread, and that thread is breaking. Only a gasp for breath, only a stopping of the heart for a single moment, and you will be in an eternal world, without God, without hope, without forgiveness. Oh, can you face it? – Charles Spurgeon

You may not have tomorrow. One second after death is too late. Now is the time to prepare for what could be your last day; tomorrow is not promised to anyone.

We cannot quite grasp eternity here but as eternal beings, our souls will live forever in either heaven or hell. There is no other place that exists for the soul to go. If you are ready, do the following steps.

Step 1

Realize that you
are a sinner

No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall miserably short of being a good person. That is because we are all sinners. The Bible says, “No one is good—not even one.”

Step 2

Believe that Jesus died on the cross for you

The Bible tells us that “God showed His great love for us by sending Jesus to die for us while we were still sinners.” This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place when we least deserved it.

Step 3

Repent of your sin

The Bible tells us, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away”. Repentance is more than feeling sorry for your sin. It means changing your mind regarding sin and God. It is an inward turning from the sins you love to the holy God you’re called to love.

Step 4

Invite Jesus Christ into your life

Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in.” If you are ready, pray something like this and mean it in your heart.

God, I understand that I have broken your standards.
I have sinned against You. Please forgive my sins. I believe that Jesus suffered and died on the cross in my place and rose again. I now place my trust in Jesus as my Savior and Lord.

Jesus, influence my heart with new desires and give me Your Holy Spirit to help me experience a new life as your friend and son/daughter of God. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

What Next?

If you truly meant the prayer above, all of your sins are forgiven, you stand clean and now find total acceptance before God. All you did was put your faith in what Jesus did for you instead of trusting in your own goodness. Amazing, isn’t it? You have entered into a new relationship with God and He is now your Heavenly Father.
