In 2019, I had a dream that I believe speaks to a new era in God’s timing—an era where, even as deep darkness covers the earth, the glory of God rises upon ordinary believers.
In the dream, I saw giant monsters attacking the earth. They were massive and terrifying. I found myself waiting for superheroes to appear and defeat them—but no one came.
Then something shifted inside me.
I began to run toward one of the monsters. As I ran, my thoughts were racing: This is insane. How can I possibly take down something this big? I’m so small.
Yet I didn’t stop.
As I drew closer, I suddenly leaped high into the air, landed on the monster, and crushed it beneath my feet.
Then I leaped again—higher—onto another, and crushed it too.
Something had changed. Fear was gone. I felt unstoppable.
I kept leaping, soaring above them, taking them down one by one. It felt almost effortless—like I was inside a video game. There was even a strange sense of joy in it.
Then I saw a large, radiant sphere of golden light appear. Written across it were the words: “The Glory of God.” It felt as though everything I had just experienced was part of a greater display—a demonstration of His glory.
Dream Interpretation
I can’t say with certainty what the monsters represent, but they seem to point to things that generate overwhelming fear, intimidation, and anxiety.
What stood out most was this: no “superheroes” came. Instead, an ordinary person stepped forward—and everything changed.
It suggests that God is inviting everyday believers—those willing to listen and respond—to take part in what He is doing. Not by reacting in fear to circumstances, but by walking in step with His Spirit.
Those who live from that place—grounded in truth rather than driven by fear—will find themselves overcoming what once seemed overwhelming.
Could it be that we are entering a season where influence doesn’t come from prominence, but from alignment? Where people without recognition or platform begin to make a real difference simply by living out what they believe?
Could it be that many will confront and overcome the “giants” in their own lives—habits, fears, destructive patterns—and in doing so become voices of clarity and hope for others?
There’s a compelling idea here: that meaningful change often begins quietly, through ordinary people choosing to act with courage and conviction.

“For years I have been hearing what I call the major prophets say that the last great and coming move of God will be a ‘grassroots’ movement—a movement of the ‘nameless, faceless’ saints, not superstars. But how can the ‘nameless’ and ‘faceless’ do the greater works? By following Jesus’ example—only doing what they see the Father do and only saying what they hear the Father say. It’s as simple as that. We’ve made it complicated, but it really isn’t.”
