Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and call understanding your nearest kin, that they may keep you from the immoral woman.
Wisdom and understanding are to be kept close—valued like family—so they guard the heart and direct our steps in purity. Scripture repeatedly warns that without wisdom, the heart is easily drawn away, but when we treasure God’s instruction, we are protected from destructive paths and led into life and stability.
True purity is not only about avoiding sin, but about loving what is good. As we walk with wisdom, listen to instruction, and keep God’s Word near, He strengthens us to turn from temptation and remain faithful in heart and conduct
